ACTION: B18/271/2 Reduced Thermal Processing

Our client, a global food and beverage manufacturer, is looking to identify technologies that can provide reduced thermal processing conditions for a range of products.  The process or technology must provide effective cooking, microbial inactivation, pasteurisation or sterilisation.

Reduced Thermal Processing

ACP is currently looking to understand the new and emerging solutions for reduced thermal processing.

The primary needs are technologies and delivery platforms that can reduce the thermal process conditions through:

  • Rapid application of heat and subsequent cooling.
  • Non Thermal processing.

Any process or technology submitted must be:

  • Considered natural or clean label.
  • Approved for use in food and drink applications.

Traditional, emerging and existing processes and technologies will all be considered, as will all stages of  technology readiness; from early stage research and development to commercially available solutions.

Responses

All solutions must be submitted to Technology Scout ([email protected]), with a subject line ACTION ref:  B18/271/2 Reduced Thermal Processing, detailing:

  • A summary of the process or technology.
  • Any technical or application limitations.
  • Commercial availability.
  • Summary of validation in food and drink application.
  • Contact details.
